When I joined the company, DAZN was pretty much an idea on a piece of paper. There was nothing to see and no product to look at but I instantly fell in love with the idea, the opportunity and the mission.

You need to have a curious mindset. You should want to learn about the other areas of the business.

We want people to make big decisions and focus on things that are really going to move the needle. We need to make DAZN famous so thinking about the big stuff that will help us do that is really important.

The ambition and the pace here are off the scale. I think I’ve probably achieved and learned more in six months being here than the equivalent or two or three years in any of my previous roles.

Interesting Fact

In a former role, I used to ghost write a column for George Best which was at a really interesting point in his life, and in mine. We would have regular phone calls to chat football and I would turn that conversation into a column on his behalf.
