What's your new role about?

As the Product Manager for Content Discovery at DAZN, you will be shaping the roadmap to create a frictionless user journey so users can get to the content they want in the most intuitive way. You will be making data led decisions that will be affecting change in an industry which DAZN is a key disruptor in.  

This role will require you to work with UX, Technology, Content, Marketing and Data to gather, refine and deliver solutions, which can handle the scale of DAZN’s ambitions. Content discovery is the essence of the entire DAZN app and as we add more content types like Shows, Movies, News, etc you will be creating journeys that are at the heart of whole app. Within the Product team we lead the way through key product management principles such as AB test experimentation, UX research and market research to ensure our app remains as user centric as possible. 

As our new Product Manager - Content Discovery, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work with stakeholders in Content, Marketing, UX and Product to gather requirements 
  • Own initiatives on the Content Discovery roadmap which encompasses everything from strategic initiatives to a comprehensive list of initiatives in the live and non-live themes to truly make DAZN the home of sport everywhere. 
  • Work with UX and engineering to validate prototype concepts with customer feedback and quantitative data. 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Are passionate about collaboration and enabling others 
  • Have experience working on for a B2C product 
  • Have experience documenting process flows 
  • Have experience writing requirements for a development team and delivering through an Agile methodology 
  • Have empathy and collaboration skills 
  • Value data-driven approaches, know-how to support hypotheses with data and asking the right questions  
  • Can clearly and reliably communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business  
  • Have an appreciation of what a good technical solution looks like and be able to contribute to a solutions discussion 

Even better if you have:

  • Experience of BDD and Gherkin 
  • Experience working with stakeholders in different parts of the world 
  • Experience leading remote/co-located workshops with technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Experience working from a problem statement, conceptualising an initiative with data, all the way to delivering your feature into the hands of customers.
