Are you an enthusiastic, driven and energetic Global Payroll & Benefits Manager?

You will be responsible for ensuring our employees are paid correctly, on time, and leading the payroll team through all challenges on a daily basis. You’ll thrive in working in an ever-changing business, with juggling multiple deadlines and dealing with a variety of queries.

You will be a stickler for clean and accurate data, have a hawk eye for discrepancies, and perhaps get a little excited by processes and excel spreadsheets! Your payroll knowledge and expertise will give us much needed support during this FTC period and in return, you’ll be part of a collaborative and vibrant HR environment, your passion for success will fit perfectly within our team!

Within this role you will support and work with the wider business such as International HR and Finance teams to build strong working relationships and ensure process consistency and governance is maintained in accordance with the VP.

As our new Global Payroll & Benefits Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and support the two payroll administrators who process multiple countries payroll data and act as an escalation point for queries.
  • Oversee the Exec payrolls and queries
  • Complete variance checks for all payrolls and prepare the monthly approvals, supporting with the submission of Statutory notices and relevant tax/social security documents to third parties
  • Ensure compliant processing and reporting for all countries
  • Own the process of external audits and internal finance queries
  • Ensuring that all data is managed and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection regulations (GDPR)
  • Assess risks and provide appropriate solutions
  • Analyse, assess and solve complex payroll/tax problems with the Snr Tax manager
  • Support the VP on various payroll and reward projects
  • Review and suggest process improvement, including leading on implementation of changes
  • Building strong vender relationships with payroll partners and benefit providers.
  • Lead on any new benefit to payroll implementations globally
  • Support the International HR teams in Expat/Secondments
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to support their ongoing development 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Confident on payroll processes, working to multiple deadlines and under pressure
  • Experience processing end to end UK payroll essential
  • Experience of international payrolls
  • Benefit taxability and payroll knowledge through years of experience
  • Strong MS Office literacy (Excel VLOOKUP essential)
  • Independent and problem-solving working style
  • Management experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working with ADP freedom / streamline
  • Familiar with Oracle
  • Confident in discussing complex tax queries with senior leaders
