What's your new role about?

We are hiring a Product Manager based out of our Amsterdam office to work on the big and challenging problems within our Customer Growth team, focused on Retention and Lifecycle. As a Product Manager for Growth, you will be responsible for the vision, definition, delivery, and optimisation of key elements of DAZN’s membership experience.   
 
The role is inherently cross-functional working with Engineering, UX Design, Marketing, Business Development, and other Product Managers to launch new capabilities to customers around the world. You will be working on a global product that impacts millions of customers every week with the opportunity to shape the next generation customer experience that connects sports fans to our top-tier live sports content. 
   
You will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and team-orientated with an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet critical deadlines. Your proven track record in taking end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Our team grows DAZN’s audience by finding sports fans around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right moment. With UX, product development, product design, engineering, and marketing, we’re able to create meaningful features and services for millions of sports fans around the globe. 
 
This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

As our new Product Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Define vision, strategy, KPIs, OKRs, and initiatives to deliver customer and business outcomes within a Retention and Lifecycle problem space  
  • Work with Engineering, UX Design, Marketing, Customer Services, Data Analysts, and other Product Managers to define and prioritise initiatives  
  • Build, maintain, and regularly adjust a modern product roadmap based on customer and business outcomes  
  • Detail, document and maintain product requirement documents and user stories within Agile environment best practices  
  • Drive a high-performing team of engineers to ship customer-impacting features  
  • Work with stakeholders across Acquisition, Retention, Mobile, TV, and more to deliver a best-in-class retention experience to customers across all platforms and partners   

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Product management experience leading agile, design, and engineering teams to take customer-facing products from ideation through to launch and optimisations 
  • Experience successfully shipping and optimising products/features/experiences that inherently have complex trade-offs.  
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. 
  • Strong requirement composition skills, with experience in working in an Agile environment, being able to communicate clearly with multiple engineering teams  
  • Customer obsession; ensuring customer-centricity at the heart of every solution  
  • Quality delivery & solution-based strengths in problem-solving and issue-resolution  
  • The ability to explain rationale behind choices as well as technical concepts to non-technical audiences is key

Even better if you also have:

  • Data-driven analysis: proven experience in analysing and using data to make key product decisions (e.g. as evidence to prioritise bugs and/or new features)
  • Experience working with a consumer product that impacts millions of customers
  • Experience delivering customer-centric products and features that impacted customer retention  
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to write SQL queries and experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker and Tableau 
  • Experience reporting back to senior management  
  • An interest in a variety of sports
