Job Summary:We are seeking a talented and experienced Looker Admin join our dynamic team. As the BI Engineer(Looker), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation, optimisation, and maintenance of our Looker platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that our business intelligence tools and processes enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This role requires a deep understanding of Looker, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. 
Data Modeling and Transformation:Design and optimise data models within Looker to support efficient and accurate reporting.
Performance Optimisation:Monitor and optimise the performance of Looker dashboards and reports.Identify and address bottlenecks in data processing and visualisation.
Training and Support:Provide training and support to Looker users, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to leverage the platform effectively.Act as a subject matter expert for Looker-related inquiries and issues.

Key Competencies:

  • Should have 5+years' Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics).
  • Strong proficiency in LookML (creating explores and models, create Persistent Derived Tables)
  • SQL & data modeling 
  • Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
