We are looking for people like you to join our journey. We are using a micro frontend architecture and our current tech stack includes JavaScript, React, Node, AWS, Node, Docker, Terraform and much more.
As part of this role, you will the opportunity to:
- Be part of a passionate team that own their area of the development of the product and champion ways of working in a scrum environment
- Lead a team of developers
- Get involved with every step of a product's lifecycle
- Work in an environment with autonomy where you will plan how to achieve goals that we are all working towards
- Experiment with new technologies
- Support and mentor other developers and team members with their day-to-day work
You will be set up for success if you have:
- At least 1 year experience of leading a team, including line management
- At least 1 year in an official Senior Developer role
- At least 3 years experience working in an Agile / Kanban environment
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, ideally with any modern framework
- Experience in developing applications using Vanilla JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5.
- Knowledge of differences between browsers
- Experience in cross-platform development (TV / STB / gaming consoles)
- Willingness to do on-device development. Not always but often, you will also have to test your code on an actual device, like a PS5.
- Willingness to explore per devices SDKs, either via specific documentation, per-platform debugging or communication with external partner.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns
- Fluent English
Not essential, but nice to have:
- JavaScript or HTML5 development experience on TV’s, set top boxes, game consoles
- Expertise with specific TV or game console SDKs: webOS, Tizen, PlayStation etc. Knowledge about STB / HWA development in general
- Expertise working with CI/CD pipelines.
