Job Role:
Reporting to Global EUC Manager the Endpoint Technical Lead will be responsible for designing, planning, maintaining, and implementing the client's Endpoint standards for Microsoft and Apple laptops, desktops and mobile devices. The role will also be a point of technical escalation for the EUC team and be responsible for the training and continued development of the End Point Engineers.
Lead responsibility for the configuration of Mac and Windows endpoint management systems, including but not limited to software installation, software updates, OS patching, firmware update, and antivirus/antimalware.
Responsible for designing and implementing hardware and device management standards for client's Microsoft and Apple devices, including MAC OS and Apple iPhone, that support the organizational security policies.
Create technical and standard operating procedure documentation.
Troubleshoot complex application and hardware issues; act as the final escalation point for Global IT Support
Administer software distribution and application management, desktop security, remote support tools, and other enterprise desktop management, monitoring, and troubleshooting utilities.
Train and assist in the continual development of the End Point Engineers
Establish and maintain a Continual Service Improvement culture through various Research and Development initiatives.
Effectively communicate IT policy to the organization
4+ years of understanding of Intune as an MDM platform, experience in the enrolment, management, and configuration of IOS, Android, Mac, and Windows devices.
Understanding of working with Azure AD Connect Synchronization, Hybrid Azure AD Join scenarios and configuration, Federated / Managed Domains, Password Hash Synchronization and Password Writeback.
Experience with change/release management process in an enterprise environment.
In-depth experience with packaging and deployment strategies, operating system standards and delivery, Microsoft Technology expertise, Third Party Management Products and Enterprise Security Suites.
Significant experience with group policy objects, device configuration profiles, and device compliance profiles.
Experience in configuration management and patch management using automated tools.
Experience with M365 service operations
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, service, and technical challenges and provide solutions.
Foundational knowledge of the ITIL framework, and IT Service Management.
Solid foundational understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
Good understanding of Azure Active Directory including Privileged Identity Management, Azure AD Enterprise Applications,
Excellent communication skills, highly-collaborative
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems.
Organized and detail oriented.
Self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and takes initiative.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple organizations, Regions, Sectors and teams.
