We have a fantastic opportunity in our Technology team for an OTT Engineer.
This role will be based in our brand-new Hyderabad office. Join us in India’s beautiful “City of Pearls” and bring your ambition to life. 

As our new OTT Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Identify, action and complete technical improvements across the DAZN OTT platforms.
  • Liaise between third party technology partners and DAZN stakeholders.
  • Influence project requirements, drive Engineering acceptance and transitions into Engineering support.
  • Understand and report on workflow utilisation statistics, capacity modelling and operational cost forecasting.
  • 3rd line support to resolve or escalate faults across a broad range of technology.
  • Perform root cause analysis of complex faults 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Prior experience developing OTT video head-ends
  • Prior experience troubleshooting OTT workflows & HTTP streaming solutions
  • Detailed knowledge of A/V encoding, packaging & CDN technologies
  • Prior experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure or similar  
  • Understanding of Public Cloud e.g. AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of Encoding and Distribution technologies. i.e. encoders, packagers (Element Media Services), video formats (DASH,HLS,MSS), DRM (Widevine, Fairplay, Playready)
  • Great communicator, tailored for all levels of technical ability and understanding
  • A track record of building relationships across multiple teams and seniority levels to deliver a collaborative working environment.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working in Broadcast / OTT / Streaming, particularly in a live / sports environment 
  • Experience with Video On Demand, Content Delivery Networks or Video Ad Insertion
