What's your new role about?

We are going to change sports media forever, by putting the consumer first, providing more sport, no ads, no long contract and a single low monthly fee. As part of the Communications & PR  team you will play an important role in understanding our consumers and how to engage with them. Working with the Head of Communications & PR and international colleagues you will support the delivery of campaigns, events and opportunities to drive awareness and adoption of our product, as well as support Corporate Communications including DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives


  • You will be in charge of proposing, planning and execution of future plans for Communications & PR activities for DAZN
  • You will also support the delivery of game changing marketing & corporate communications for DAZN – Story Telling is a vital part of Communications & PR and will include : Distribution plan that includes creation of story that travels, identifying target audience and media for the story, putting the story into press release format for Third Party to distribute the story, collaborating especially with 360 publishers team and social team for multi-dimensional storytelling, and following up the story to ensure it lives as long as possible.
  • Tracking and evaluating press coverage and commentary
  • Tracking the news/sport agenda and identifying potential media/social opportunities
  • Dealing with media enquiries
  • Creating PR assets such as Press Releases, briefing documents for spokespeople and other marketing materials
  • Creating and maintaining media lists and setting up meetings with press contacts
  • Creating reports and presentations in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Supporting the creation of print, online and social content
  • Support the delivery of campaigns and day-to-day activity  - working with colleagues to create buzz
  • around our content and our product

  • Help organise launch events and experiential activity that generates more bang for our buck
  • General team admin, organisation and logistics
  • Ensure that we communicate well with all parts of the business and the group


  • Some PR /marketing experience (1-2 years)
  • Highly organized with fantastic attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Curious, interesting in sports
  • Flexibility, passion
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong belief in company, industry, what we are doing
  • Organized
  • Demonstrable sports knowledge
  • Experience of working with a global strategy adapted for the Japanese market
  • Fluent in Japanese
  • Creative flair
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A degree or other qualifications in Communications, Journalism or a related field is a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about sport/technology
  • IT literate, including an understanding of social media and blogging
  • Strong relationship building, able to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent standard of written/reading English and good presentation skills
