To support our global takeover as the leading sports OTT platform we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about testing a modern, scalable and resilient platform and want to contribute to our mission of pushing the boundaries.
Your team

We are the Monetization Platform at DAZN which gives users access to DAZN membership through flexible offers and purchase models that fit their needs. We manage the services which power DAZN's offers, promotion, revenue & billing capabilities.
We are a backend department primarily working with JavaScript/TypeScript using AWS solutions. Our department is around 25+ people and growing. We enable the business to move faster by organising ourselves on technology/people. Our priority is customer success hence we make sure our services are resilient and highly available.

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

As our new Junior Software Engineer in Test, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Create automated tests within different levels
  • Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper definition of stories and appropriate coverage
  • Define test scenarios and strategies for complex architectures
  • Explore new testing approaches and write POCs to test out within the company
  • Personal development in Software Development and Quality Assurance

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Knowledge of any programming language (scripting language is a plus)
  • Understanding of main concepts of CI/CD pipelines and different deployment strategies 
  • Ability to review code and identify potential weaknesses
  • A quality mindset
  • Monitoring skills

Even better if you also have:

  • Knowledge in the areas of performance/load testing
  • Knowledge of HTTP, REST API
