What's your new role about?

As a member of the Global Media Planning team, you will play a key role in helping to support the implementation ofOn-Product promotional plans for live and non-live content, updates for customers re: product development, rights deals and wider business updates. You will have a good understanding of the sporting landscape and understand what it means to be a fan, and quickly get a feel for the events that help drive our growth.  
 
This is a supporting role in which you will become a go-to person for Broadcast campaign information and maintenance, help to integrate local market plans and align them to key business goals centrally.  We are looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills. You will be enthusiastic to learn fast whilst building relationships across the business.  

Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (Not all of it, just the most important stuff)

  • Support the development of monthly media plans to promote key events/content, wider business updates including retention, product & company news. 
  • Maintain delivery list of interstitial assets, promos, menus & filler. 
  • Maintain all broadcast interstitial information and metadata for playout in Transmission including Half-Time Editorial. 
  • Assist in leading weekly delivery calls for asset delivery – Promos + Half-Time Editorial. 
  • Liaise with Ad Operations to coordinate scheduling of content for un-sold advertising space 
  • Brief in promotional campaigns for OTT & Linear channels. 
  • Support the coordination of obligated assets including UCL/UEL sponsorship & other legally obligated assets required for broadcast. 
  • Support phases of launch for new territories & Linear channels and help to provide operational guidelines and requirements from a media planning perspective. 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Motivation, commitment, enthusiasm and drive. 
  • Experience in a broadcast environment. 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a strong eye for detail, prioritising workload where required. 
  • Good understanding of the sporting landscape, and willingness to keep up with the latest news and thirst to learn more about sports you may not be as familiar with. 
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc. 
  • Interest in content production for multi-platform distribution.  
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and individually. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities.  

  • NOT ESSENTIAL BUT GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE 
  • Previous experience working with Whats’On, or similar broadcast management software 
  • Experience working in an international environment / global organisation  
  • Language(s) skills
