What's your new role about?

How do you fancy being able to directly influence the presentation of a growing linear portfolio of channels reaching millions globally. This maternity cover fixed term contract provides you the opportunity to be part of a wider team that is central to the planning and implementation of live and non-live across the DAZN network.
As a Senior Presentation Scheduler in the Central Planning Team, you will play a key role in the operation of DAZN’s linear across multiple regions. We are looking for a talented, diligent candidate with exceptionally strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You will have experience of scheduling for broadcast in a linear Broadcast Management system notable Mediagenix WON and Amagi. You will work closely with our Transmission, Editorial, Advertising and Operational teams as well as local Production staff to ensure that we deliver linear schedules to editorial strategy. You will play a pivot role in assessing the presentation requirements for linear channels across the DAZN network. 
This role will be based in Leeds.

As our new Senior Presentation Scheduler, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage presentation scheduling of multisport linear channels across the DAZN portfolio with a deep awareness of editorial strategy.
  • Be the key liaison between Editorial, Media Planning and Transmission,
  • Lead on developing department workflows to ensure efficiency
  • Manage content partnership requirements and accurate delivery of promo campaigns, schedule timings and delivery to Transmission
  • Work closely with the local and central production teams for scheduling requirements
  • Assist in the organising of weekly and monthly planning meetings with in-house and international teams
  • Work with Broadcast Operations teams on any changes that may impact the live schedules.
  • Play a key role in any ad-hoc project management work as required.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven track record of proactivity, accuracy and taking action that add value to the business unit.
  • An interest in sports.
  • Senior level experience in presentation scheduling, formats and operating systems in a linear environment.
  • Experience working with Media Genix What’s On.
  • Experience of live broadcast formats and the ability to read live running orders.
  • Experience of working on and developing strategy on a linear platform

Even better if you have:

  • Excellent knowledge of broadcast workflows and technical processes.
  • Experience in an international organisation.
  • Team mentoring experience.
  • Demonstratable experience in project work.
