DAZN is changing the way the world sees sport. Our product team creates impactful experiences, unlocking the power of OTT to connect and engage fans to the heart of sports, everywhere in the world. We are looking for a Product Strategy Manager to play a vital role in ensuring DAZN continues to revolutionise the world of Sports broadcasting.
 
As DAZN’s Product Strategy Manager you will work closely with DAZN’s Chief Product Officer and his leadership team, conducting analyses and communicating strategic recommendations that shape DAZNs product for years to come. You will work closely with DAZNs strategy and insights teams to ensure that the Product strategy aligns to DAZNs strategic direction and delivers amazing experiences that our customers love.
 
You will work closely with the entire Product organisation, ensuring that Product Managers are supported in turning big ideas into accurate and compelling data-driven strategies, and that the processes that the Product Organisation employs are lean, data-driven and provide the necessary autonomy for Product and Tech colleagues to deliver the best possible results.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

  • Collaborating with Product leadership and DAZN strategy in defining DAZNs overarching product strategy – where should DAZN’s product be heading in 3 years time
  • Supporting product leadership in defining and prioritising the product roadmap
  • Leading analysis on markets, customers, solutions, competitors and experiences
  • Supporting and co-ordinating product teams to deliver their own product strategy, roadmaps and analyses
  • Ensuring all product verticals have effective customer feedback loops
  • Highlighting changes in subscriber behaviour
  • Highlighting tech trends and changes in consumer behavior​
  • Highlighting deficiencies in our current product, and potential resolutions
  • Highlighting opportunities for innovation​
  • Carrying out competitor benchmarking and analysis to support decision making and identify product gaps
  • Supporting product leadership with analyses and communications for important product updates, including Product Steerco and Exec Co meetings
  • Advising on product process improvements

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS

  • Experience working in a strategy role for a top strategy consultancy or leading organisation
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal. Able to understand audiences, create compelling storylines and land messages.
  • Top notch analytical skills, bias for data and uses data well to support arguments
  • Solution-based & active mindset with a strong bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for Product and a desire to be part of building the worlds best product
  • Ability to manage priorities, set goals and hit deadlines to achieve maximum productivity 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Self-starter and self-developer, always looking to grow and improve

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE TOO

  • Has worked in a relevant industry; Sports broadcasting or OTT
  • Experience with the subscription customer lifecycle
  • Digital product background
  • A passion for Sports
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally either in business (economics, finance, management) or technical field (engineering, computer science, mathematics); Master's degree is a plus
