As our new Employee Relations and People Advisor in Hammersmith, you’ll not only be the face of People Services and Delivery for the London-based employees, but you will also support wider HR initiatives and drive forwards our People Strategy.

Working within a collaborative and vibrant HR environment, your work ethic and proactiveness will ensure your success in the role and your employment law knowledge will give us much-needed support in driving the HR function to success. You will be strong in helping shape and improve the People Services workflows and initiatives and have prior experience with working in a fast-paced HR Shared Services team, with specific focus on onboarding, offboarding, and guiding employees and managers on a range of HR topics.

As our new Employee Relations and People Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • You will be the first point of contact for all HR and employment legislation queries
  • Ensuring data integrity is maintained within our HRIS (Oracle)
  • You will work closely with the People Partners and provide support where required
  • Provide regular training on HR topics to employees and managers
  • Provide ER guidance and advice to managers as required
  • Act as a mentor for junior members of the team
  • Work closely with our centre of excellence teams including, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits and the HRIS team in order to drive the People strategy with a specific focus on the employee engagement. 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Experience working as a HR Advisor or in a comparable role within a Shared Services team
  • Confident in dealing with issues independently
  • Be able to challenge stakeholders in a positive and professional way
  • Have attention to detail and excellent communication/written skills
  • Be a people person – approachable, helpful and collaborative
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentially and establish trust and credibility
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced (and sometimes chaotic) environment. What good skills to have!

Even better if you have:

  • HR related degree or CIPD qualification
  • Experience working in the sports industry
  • Fluent in other European languages
  • Experience with European or Global employment law
