What's your new role about?


As a Delivery Manager in the Product Engineering group, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering DAZN’s native mobile & TV application’s to the different stores and delivery channels. With 10 different release channels, including Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Amazon Store, you will be managing the releases and release process across all channels. 

You will take a crucial part of managing what goes into the release from multiple teams. You will also be managing the quality approval process of the releases.
 And you will be working with Key stakeholders, different Teams ( Development & QA) as well Managers to ensure we release high quality applications to our end consumers in an Multi international fast paced environment.

As our new Delivery manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Release Planning & Coordination:
Working with Product and Engineering teams to manage the release scope and timelines 
Managing multiple release for Android Mobile, Android TV, Apple iOS, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku TV and more 
Managing and Coordinating what goes into each of the releases from multiple release trains and from multiple teams across different locations (e.g. Poland, India and others) taking
Feature timelines into account.
Identify dependencies and risks associated with release activities and develop mitigation strategies.

Deployment Management:
Managing the rollout strategy for each of the release channels 
Be the administrator of the developer consoles
Coordinate the submission of app builds, release notes, and other required assets for app store approval.
Monitor deployment progress and address any issues or roadblocks encountered during the release process.
Managing the quality process for the release candidates and for rolling them into production in cooperation with QA Teams for final Sign off

Communication and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related communications.
Communicate release schedules, status updates, and any changes to relevant stakeholders.

Process & improvement
Drive DAZN’s release technical strategy across living room devices, implementing and documenting best practices and improve the process 
Maintain accurate documentation of release processes, procedures, and configurations.
Generate release reports and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

You’ll have:
Experience in Mobile app release, and releasing to Google Play Store / Apple App Store
Experience in working with multiple teams and multiple release trains 
Experience in Jira and reporting as well processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
Proficiency in delivery / release management tools and release management software.
Basic understanding of mobile app development technologies (e.g., iOS, Android).
