Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Testing Automation Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development and implementation of a complex system from scratch. The system has a large set of complex flows with many moving parts: various real-time admin consoles, complex micro-front-end client pages, chat, quizzes pools, and landing pages. The flows connect smart TVs with browsers and mobile apps. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing an automation infrastructure that meets the needs of our growing business.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, design, and implementation of a mostly web-based, system from scratch using cutting-edge web technologies and architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation tools and workflows that streamline development and deployment processes for testing purposes.
The automation will be a part of CI/CD pipeline to verify the health of our systems, utilizing Selenium, Selenium Grid, WebDriver, and reporting tools. Ideally, the system will also connect to our other, non-web parts, driving Appium on Mobile, and other automation drivers on smart TVs and consoles.
Create detailed project plans and schedules and manage resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
Create and maintain reporting systems to provide regular updates on the progress of the automation system for testing purposes.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Lead the hiring, mentoring, and training of team members to help developing their technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in web, mostly client side.
Proven deep and wide experience in designing and architecting complex web-based systems.
Strong experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the React framework.
Experience with AWS cloud technologies and architecture.
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with Selenium, Selenium Grid, WebDriver, and automated reporting tools.
A deep understanding of JavaScript and complex micro frontend architectures.
Possess a high proficiency in Chrome debug tools and advanced debugging techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
