SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?
As Business Analyst for Payments at DAZN, you will be responsible for defining, and communicating requirements for features that empower customers to sign up and maintain their subscriptions with DAZN.
Working with stakeholders in Payments, Tech and Partnerships, you will translate high concept payments requirements into technical and complex stories that a development team can understand. You will form strong collaborative partnerships with two engineering teams specializing in payments, billing and subscriptions as well as the Payments Product team.
You will work closely with UX and other stakeholders to scope out requirements and document them creating user flows and BDD Gherkin tickets. Stories will be groomed with Dev teams, ensuring buy-in and a shared understanding of what should be built before sprints start. During sprints you will advise the delivery team, making sure what is built meets business requirements, and then monitor performance after releases to inform our approach to later iterations and priorities.
You will be working on a game changing global product with the opportunity to shape a next generation video OTT platform to deliver streaming sport (live and on demand) to a large customer base around the world and disrupt the world of Sports broadcasting. Examples of projects include building a subscriptions and billing engine, implementing alternative payments methods in new markets, delivering authentication in the form of a fraud engine and SCA, working with key partners in the sports industries to manage mutual customers, and diversifying the way customers pay for DAZN across multiple platforms including web, mobile and TV/consoles.
HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)
- Work with your Product team to gather requirements from various internal departments for the DAZN to support the DAZN payments service
- Document these requirements as internal user stories with acceptance criteria written in BDD and Gherkin
- Work with UX and Design team to capture the user journeys for users of the DAZN payments services
- Support scrum events with advisory on business requirements, to make sure features which are being built are in-line with project priorities and company goals
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?
- Experience as a BA for a B2C product, delivering features from start to finish in an Agile environment
- Experience in Payments or Billing & Subscriptions
- Strong requirements creation skills writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria collaboratively, ideally in a BDD Gherkin format
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
