What's your new role about?
DAZN is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and driving the successful execution of projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and with high quality. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring project objectives are clearly defined, and project plans are developed and executed effectively.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and priorities, and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolve issues, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, operations, and testing, to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management through regular status reports, meetings, and presentations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and support to project team members.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Experience: 5- 12 years
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A relevant professional certification, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects within the technology industry.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, resource management, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and meeting project objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is desirable.
- Familiarity with software development and technology projects is a plus.
- Scrum masters are not a suitable for this role.
