What's your new role about?
As Business Analyst for Acquisition & Retention / Strategic Partnerships at DAZN, you will be responsible for defining, and communicating requirements for features that help DAZN sign-up sports fans and retain them.
Working with stakeholders in Product, Tech, Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Services across the sign-up funnel, customer support and with key partners you will work across all platforms (Phone/Tablet/ Desktop/Living room) in an Agile, customer-centric and data driven environment. You will work closely with UX and other stakeholders to scope out requirements and document them creating user flows and BDD Gherkin tickets. Stories will be groomed with Dev teams, ensuring buy in and a shared understanding of what should be built before sprints start. During sprints you will advise the delivery team, making sure what is built meets business requirements, and then monitor performance after releases to inform our approach to later iterations and priorities.
You will be working on a game changing global product with the opportunity to shape a next generation video OTT platform to deliver streaming sport (live and on demand) to a large customer base around the world, and disrupt the world of Sports broadcasting. Examples of projects include; re-engineering the sign-up journey, e.g. moving the paywall to different steps in the journey and testing multiple flows; building integrated authentication with key telco partners, implementing new payment methods for local markets where Credit Cards are not the norm such as Gift Cards, Mobile carrier billing, e-wallets; allowing customers to sign-up and sign-in on new smart TVs and living room devices; and implementing a Chatbot for Customer Services to improve the speed and accuracy with which we can respond to Customers.
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
- Experience as a BA for a B2C product, delivering features from start to finish in an Agile environment (min 2 years)
- Strong requirements creation skills writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria collaboratively, ideally in a BDD Gherkin format
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
