What's your new role about?

DAZN is the world changing sports broadcaster bringing thousands of sporting events into millions of households across the world, delivering live sport direct to consumers through 100s of devices in over 200 countries.

DAZN has changed the way the world consumes sports. Now we are now ready to take the next steps on that journey and for this we’re looking for a new VP of Technical Product to head up our Commerce engineering domain.  
 
Together with the existing strong group of product managers, developers, architects, analysts, designers and operators, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a fantastic product experience.  
 
You will own the product roadmap for all features relating to core commerce & global user management capabilities across all customer experiences and partners/suppliers. You will be the driving force behind building one single commerce platform to support DAZN’s business vision and goals. 
 
As our new VP Technical Product, Commerce, you’ll have the opportunity to: 

 Collaborate with all DAZN teams and executive committee to define product strategy, prioritise, get buy-in, and ensure all stakeholders understand key deliverables, priorities, and timing. 
Own and operate a Non-Functional Roadmap 
Work to define a technical roadmap within the Payments/Commerce team 
Hire, build and manage a high performing product team to work and collaborate with adjacent product domains 
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions 
 
You will be set up for success if you have: 
 
Proven technical product experience in eCommerce, Growth, Accounts or Payments environment 
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization 
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams 
Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions 
Demonstrated track record of delivering large, cross-functional, customer facing products 
Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving; thinks big, starts small, grows fast 
Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities 
Full working understanding of Agile methodologies and best practice  
Strong strategic vision but also not afraid to roll up sleeves and dive into the details to get the work done
