If you’re interested in the technical aspect of payments for subscriptions or PPV and how it’s all working in the background from sign-up to purchase on DAZN platform – we’re looking for you. 

DAZN is looking for a passionate Payments & Subscriptions Specialist to join the team. Despite what you might think, this is not a role in Finance department! Payments & Subscriptions Specialist role is focused on B2C e-commerce ecosystem with a subscription business model.
 
As a Payments & Subscriptions Specialist at DAZN, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of payments and subscription platforms used by DAZN. This role involves liaising with the Development and Product Management teams to support the launch of new features and ensure the smooth running of existing ones. Over time, your growing understanding of DAZN payment and subscription systems will be vital for the support of internal and external stakeholders with gained knowledge. This role has great potential to expand your understanding and knowledge of all aspects of online payments and e-commerce.

You will be reporting to Interim Head of Payments and be supported by 2 Payments & Subscriptions Coordinators and 5 Payments & Subscriptions Specialists.

This role is based in Katowice, however, we’re working remotely and deciding together when and how often we meet in the office.

As our new Payments & Subscriptions Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Projects: 
  • Cooperate with higher management, TPMs, PMs, our suppliers, and other stakeholders in terms of project progress, requirements, the launch of global features, pricing changes, etc. Ensuring full end to end support from the start of the project to post-launch monitoring
  • Be the key point of contact for the project management of system changes and new implementations for the billing platform. Build data and process structures to ensure completeness for all entities, standardization, and optimizations to support continuous improvement
  • Monitor and integrate with other third parties' systems including Zuora Billing Platform, Salesforce platform (coordinate with the local SF Team), Adyen, 3rd Party Payment Consoles (Apple, Google, etc.)

  • Support: 
  • Assist internal stakeholders and teams with gained knowledge about our systems’ capabilities during projects’ delivery, testing during project implementation
  • Help with ad hoc questions and investigations from e.g., Payments Operations, UAT Team and Incident Management teams
  • Prepare training calls and materials for other team members or teams within the business, including documentation about projects and gained know-how

  • System maintenance: 
  • Maintain our Payments and Subscriptions ecosystem (e.g. Zuora, Adyen) as well as other various platforms and their dependencies between them
  • Troubleshoot and investigate live payments and subscription issues
  • Manage 3PP offers catalogue

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • High computer and data literacy (Microsoft Office, incl Excel)
  • Logical thinking and efficient and strong communicating skills  
  • At least upper-intermediate knowledge of English (B2)
  • Intellectual curiosity combined with outstanding analytical skills
  • Passion for customer data
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads efficiently
  • Hands onboard attitude and ability to work within the team as well as on our own
  • Experience in product/project development and agile environment

Even better if you have:

  • Zuora and Salesforce knowledge and experience 
  • Experience with subscription-based products, e-commerce or online payments in general
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., SQL, JavaScript)
