A world-first OTT streaming service for live sport, DAZN has made major events in football, boxing and other mainstream sports accessible for sports fans in over 200 territories. DAZN’s creative thinking, execution and team spirit reflects this. Additionally, we have recently partnered with the NFL to host Gamepass International exclusively on DAZN. By joining the in-house agency team DAZN Creative, you’ll be instrumental in driving forward DAZN’s brave ambition, playing a pivotal role in establishing the new home for NFL on DAZN around the world.
You’re a fluent English speaker and a creative, confident writer. You inherently understand how to craft words to inform, excite or sell to customers. You’re happy to work independently, while liaising with the global and local copywriters to support on brand tonality and communication best practice. You’re comfortable thinking on your feet and you enjoy a challenge: you’re not fazed by the odd change in direction in a fast-moving company.
You’ll work in DAZN Creative, our in-house agency team, reporting into the Creative Director and Sr UX Writer. You’ll be working on the breadth of copy requirements across functions and channels from social to CRM, developing effective English copy as a master for market translation. You’ll work closely with the Brand, CRM and Campaign teams to ensure language and style are consistent while remaining truly relevant to the NFL consumer.
This role will be based in Leeds.

As our new Copywriter, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Own the copy creation of core customer communications for DAZN and NFL, including Global CRM engagement communication and CRM promotional communication, such as retention or upsell campaigns
- Evolve and scale tone of voice guidelines for DAZN & NFL GPI specifically
- Contribute to the wider global copy execution creating: Copy for big media campaigns across digital, print, radio, OOH and TV, Copy for on-product promotional assets, including VO copy, Marketing claims , CTA development, Product feature naming
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience writing copy that is genuinely engaging, original and dynamic
- Demonstrably strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with a small team of writers
- An understanding of the complexities of writing English copy that is aligned with global brand principles and that will translate effectively for use in multiple languages
- Knowledge of the importance of brand and global tone of voice principles
- Ability to write long-form content for an email as well as come up with a brand-led tagline for use on a billboard
- A passion for sport
- Ability to take feedback on board from both internal and external stakeholders and work iteratively
