At DAZN, we are using data to shape the future of sports! We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Product Manager to help DAZN reach the next level in this space. Working with talented data engineers and data professionals, the Data Product Manager will ensure that customer, supplier and internal data can be effectively collected, organized and converted into quality information that can be used to gain useful insight into the DAZN service. Working across many different data sources, the Data Product Manager will work with stakeholders across the business to determine which datasets and features are needed to deliver commercial success and help DAZN to achieve its goals.  
 
Your team 
The Data function at DAZN is responsible for data ingestion, warehouse, modelling and utilisation. Everything from ETL jobs to advanced analytics is tackled by our enthusiastic and talented team. With more than 70 team members based in more than 8 countries worldwide and coming from backgrounds in a wide variety of disciplines and industries, we are changing the way DAZN thinks about and uses data.  
 
This role can be based in UK.

As our new Data Product Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work with a diverse range of stakeholders on key projects to work out dependencies and requirements 
  • Build the strategic roadmap for the Data Engineering functions 
  • Work on a range of different systems, data and platforms 
  • Help the data team to figure out solutions for problems which have not been tackled before! 

You’ll be set up for success if you have

  • Strong SQL skills and ability to roll up your sleeves and pick up different systems 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • Experience building, owning, adapting and communicating a strategic roadmap 
  • Product management experience in a Data Platform, Data Engineering or Data Warehousing team 
  • Ability to audit and review implementations to flag issues and ensure data quality  
  • Experience with competitive intelligence and following new technologies and products 

Even better if you have

  • Experience in the data environment of a subscription business 
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Python, AWS, DBT or Airflow 
  • Experience in performing business analysis and evaluating third party systems 
  • Ability to get stuck in with rest APIs and sampling data
