System&Production Testing – TL
Define and agree QA processes and strategies conducted across DAZN, managed through our internal global QA resource and our external QA Outsource partners.
Define, manage and maintain an automation test environment across 20+ devices in multiple regions to ensure that both staging and production environments are regularly tested for regression.
Inform decisions on at the change approval board by providing detail on test coverage ahead of critical launches with your recommendation to launch supported by data.
Manage with programmes through delivery; scoping, planning and resource forecasting of new features, new regions and new partnership initiatives.
Advocate quality/testing best practices; driving and improving the QA team in all areas and striving to improve testing practices, processes and communication across the QA discipline.
QA Team Management: hire and manage manual and technical teams interviewing, conducting 1-1’s, coaching, training/mentoring and procurement of outsource suppliers.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
Experience working on web, mobile, TV platforms, set-top boxes and/or games consoles in a Lead QA role within an agile environment responsible for overseeing testing conducted on a daily basis.
Strong experience working on live applications with a continuous feature & content release cycle.
Strong experience of exploratory testing, compliance testing, defect regression, smoke-testing and test planning.
Strong experience of automation frameworks across multiple devices to increase coverage and validation.
Extensive and in-depth experience of bug database systems and test-tracking software such as JIRA and Test Rail.
Upper-Intermediate English – B2 level
An exceptional communicator, articulate and well presented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A mature and professional individual who is self-motivating and enthusiastic that is performance orientated.
First rate leadership, negotiation and influencing skills with all seniority levels.
Ability to make difficult decisions and to work under pressure and with frequent changing priorities
Even better if you have:
Knowledge of end-to-end video delivery technologies and an understanding of issues surrounding video playback an advantage.
Experience of writing tests using Selenium, Java or similar, using BDD Tools including Cucumber and scripting languages such as Python is desirable.
Experience with Charles Proxy, Wire-Shark and other supporting QA Tools.
