What's your new role about?

In 2016 DAZN launched its direct-to-consumer app bringing more live sport directly to customers than ever before through a simple, intuitive, easy-to-use app at a low monthly price. By 2019 DAZN was playing more hours of live sports than any other company anywhere in the world.   
Now it’s time to push new boundaries. DAZN believes there is a significant opportunity to offer commercial venues (bars, betting shops, hotels, retail stores, cafes) a new proposition with more sports, more choice, and better access than ever before and is looking for a QA Team Leader to support its delivery.  
As a QA Team Lead, you will develop automation tests and lead a small QA team.  You will collaborate with internal and external teams across product, development, and design on defect resolution to ensure that business objectives are met, and manufacturer requirements are delivered within the applications.

Your Team
We are a dedicated QA team supporting the development and delivery of DAZN’s first purpose-built bespoke B2B STB. The team regularly engages with multiple internal & external stakeholders to facilitate the continuous testing and release of FE & BE features & functionally. We will implement automation to ensure the QA team can scale to meet future business needs and requirements.
This role can be based in Katowice or you can work remotely from anywhere in Poland.

As our new QA Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 QA professionals 
  • Participate in building test strategy 
  • Mentor and support other QAs with their day-to-day work
  • Develop automation tests

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Previous experience as a Leader of a small QA team with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. 
  • Commercial experience in manual and automated tests 
  • Knowledge of any tool for automating tests and any programming language
  • Experience in the backend (API) testing 
  • Experience with GIT or another distributed version control 
  • Ability to mentor less experienced colleagues 

Even better if you have:

  • Knowledge and experience with the Android platform 
  • Experience in creating and working to BDD specifications
