Your team 

The Service Portfolio & Digital Transformation Team supports and manages all of DAZN’s internal business applications and projects. This includes applications like; Office 365, Oracle Financials, Oracle HR, Azure, AWS, Linux, Active Directory and multiple other Apps & Servers. 
 
 
The role is based in Hammersmith London and but we offer flexible working/hybrid model and you are able to work from home 2-3 days per week

As our new Head of infrastructure, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Formulate and delivery of the organisation's infrastructure strategy in conjunction with key business stakeholders and technology specialists 
  • Manage and lead a team that develops, implements and supports infrastructure across a wide spectrum of disciplines 
  • Act as a senior stakeholder for IT technology, representing holistic infrastructure requirements and championing best practices 
  • Consult, evaluate and develop solutions in collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Own Infrastructure Products – Operation and development of infrastructure services consumed by the three pillars of IT within the business - including but not limited to, the infrastructure hosting platform, identity and access management and automated configuration management services. 
  • Ensure high-quality service  delivery standards for infrastructure products and services, backed by team OKRs and SLAs 
  • Management and preparation of departmental budget  and project budgets, procurement of IT equipment and services and supplier management
  • Working closely with service management teams, act as a top-level technical escalation point for complex IT issues, responding to and ensuring a smooth resolution of incidents with 3rd line teams 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Expert knowledge of supporting and deploying common Microsoft ecosystem and Linux/Open-Source technologies – e.g. Server O/Ses, Ansible, Hyper-V, XenServer, Active Directory, Git, CentOS7, etc. 
  • Strong competencies across infrastructure compute, storage and networking domains, including “as code” deployment, modernisation, and systems integration 
  • > e.g., Virtualisation, ETL, CI/CD, automation, discovery services (DNS/DHCP), network services (routing protocols, IP space, protocols) 
  • Advanced knowledge of Identity and access management, with implementation experience in solutions such as Multi-domain Active Directory, AzureAD Premium, SSO, SAML, PKI and related integrations. 
  • Significant exposure to the delivery of digital transformation and cloud-native design using common public cloud providers such as AWS and Azure. E.g. Containerisation, ELBs, SaaS, Distributed Databases 
  • Solid background of hands-on implementation and architecture of infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale, from definition to delivery 
  • Robust experience of team management and leadership, including hiring, development and organisation of globally disparate staff 
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills, catering to both technical and non-technical colleagues 
  • Strong foundation of security concepts and best practices, with exposure to ISO27001 certification process 
  • Close involvement in defining and managing multi-million-pound budgets, covering OPEX and CAPEX requirements for teams and products. 
  • Good knowledge of system configuration management, end-user device management and remote VDI solutions. 
  • Detailed exposure to the design, deployment and support of messaging and collaboration platforms for internal customers and services 
  • Proficient in popular scripting languages such as Python or Powershell 
  • Experience with industry standard service management and reporting tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira and PowerBI

  • Experience with defining and supporting M&A activities such as divestitures and mergers 
  • Is self-motivated possessing an analytical mindset 
  • Keeps up to date with technology trends and developments
