What's your new role about?

As a Territory Planner / Content Coordinator, you will be comprehensively responsible for content scheduling and programming for DAZN's sports video distribution service. You will also manage the platform's operations, aiming for stable operations and strategic platform development.

This position requires you to utilize your knowledge of video content while working with related departments and external partners to deliver the best viewing experience.

Additionally, building and maintaining relationships with relevant departments and external partners is a crucial role. This includes collaborating with the UK headquarters, production teams, rights teams, and marketing teams to drive projects through effective communication. The role also involves managing and coordinating content with external partners.

As our new Territory Planner/Content Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Schedule and program live and non-live content for DAZN.
  • Manage distribution schedules to ensure stable platform operations, evaluating content performance and propose improvements.
  • Improve content quality through metadata and asset management.
  • Provide an attractive viewing experience based on viewing data and content strategy.
  • Coordinate and follow up with various partners on content, managing and coordinating contracts with external partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with related departments and external partners.
  • Analyse and report on viewing data.
  • Implement and evaluate strategies to enhance engagement.

You’ll need to have these essentials:

  • Knowledge or experience in video and distribution platforms.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple projects.
  • Strong interest in content management and programming.
  • Communication skills to work collaboratively with different departments.
  • High communication skills (required in both Japanese and English).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic software skills.
  • Attention to detail regarding time, date and geographic information.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in business needs, responsibilities, culture and environment.

It would be great if you have these too:

  • Experience with industry-standard scheduling systems.
  • Experience in scheduling workflows, formats, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of viewer patterns in the Japanese and global sports markets (international sports knowledge is also desirable).
