What's your new role about?

DAZN’s VP of E-commerce Strategy will be responsible for defining the global strategy for DAZN in the competitive E-commerce space. DAZN has millions of customers globally, and they are sports fans. We believe that there is an opportunity to offer these customers E-Commerce solutions that bring them closer to their favourite sports, teams and brands. This newly created role will define the E-commerce proposition for DAZN, localised to every market. The VP of E-commerce will decide, in collaboration with other DAZN stakeholders, what products to offer customers, and how to create a unique and differentiated E-commerce experiences. A crucial part of the role is selecting and managing the right partners to work with to deliver these experiences, and mapping out in the longer term how E-commerce is embedded in the DAZN viewing experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of teams within DAZN, including product, technology, legal, marketing, operations, PR, and rights. In addition, the VP of E-commerce will be expected to engage with rights holders and sporting organisations and athletes to help secure access to properties than can be leveraged via E-commerce. The role can be based in any of the major DAZN offices in Europe and will report into the global EVP of New Revenues, based in London.

This role can be aligned to any of our European offices (London, Madrid and Munich).

  • Defining, with senior stakeholders, the overall strategy for E-commerce at DAZN.
  • Defining the global strategy and working with local business units to tailor for their markets.
  • Defining product lines and collections, including working with rightsholders to create unique collections.
  • Selecting 3rd party partners to execute the strategy.
  • Creating motivating ecommerce propositions for DAZN customers.
  • Working with DAZN project management to ensure that new ecommerce solutions are delivered to specification, and that all stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Managing 3rd party partner relationships.
  • Working with the product team to define the long term product vision of an integrated watching / ecommerce experience.
  • Exploring innovative ways to integrate E-commerce in the DAZN platform and user journeys. 


  • A creative and strategic approach to creating E-commerce propositions for sports fans. 
  • Proven commercial experience in the digital E-commerce sector, with previous and tracked experience in sports E-commerce.
  • A good understanding of E-commerce platforms and business models, and how these would be useful for DAZN.
  • A strong, self-motivated attitude, and the ability to drive the E-commerce strategy within the wider DAZN organisation.
  • Strong commercial/business development experience, in an E-commerce environment.
  • High attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, plus fluency in the local language.
  • Other language skills are a bonus.
