What's your new role about?
DAZN, the revolutionary, global sports streaming service & rights holder of the UEFA and Europa Champions League, Bundesliga and a large portfolio of European Football, wish to appoint a Production Coordinator to work on our exciting new women’s sport channel RISE and unilateral productions within the DACH market.
In this role as a Production Coordinator for Women Sports channel, you will have the opportunity to manage all the logistics and coordination for the projects mentioned above, including helping to coordinate requirements for all onsite production activities and supporting the Production Manager and Technical Producer on a daily basis or when they are on duty on match days. We are looking for a Production Coordinator who loves and has knowledge of Football and other sports. Your passion for sports combined with organisational and administration skills as well as your German and English language skills, will help you succeed in this role and take the productions projects at DAZN to next level.
This role will be based in Munich. As our new Production Coordinator m/f/d, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Be the project Lead for all Women Bundesliga and Champions League matchday activities in DACH as well as non-live activities and social platform management
- Act as the go-to-person for new Women Channel RISE
- Hire crew & freelance contractors, whilst maintaining a production schedule of all freelance and internal staff on all active projects
- Be the main contact and responsible for all travel within the department: ensuring all travel logistics & hotels are booked where required in line with production budget
- Be responsible for health and safety requirements, e.g. Covid 19 testing, health and safety forms for onsite productions, etc
- Produce risk assessments with the help of the Production Manager
- Ensure suitable accreditation is arranged for each onsite crew member in line with UEFA’s or the association’s regulations
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Technical Producer to arrange access with venues, clubs and UEFA for host broadcast facility
- Produce and distribute call-sheets for multiple events
- Assist the Administrative and Finance Coordinator with raising purchase orders and processing invoices for all freelancers and suppliers
- Assist the Production Manager with the tracking of costs for each event
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Accounting and/or business administration experience and being comfortable working with numbers, sheets, names, rotas, etc.
- Perfect organisational and planning skills with a strong attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy at all times
- Excellent communicator at all levels, working well as part of a team and independently
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage own workload and schedule
- Experience working towards tight deadlines and being able able to think on your feet
- Flexibility to work on match days when required
- Knowledge of MS Office Programs, especially Excel
- Fluent German and English language skills (additional languages is an advantage)
