To help us achieve this mission we’re looking for an experienced leader to take on the newly created BD Growth Strategist role to drive growth operations in Japan and expansion in APAC.
【BD growth Strategist Tokyo 】
As a member of the Business Development team in Tokyo, you will be responsible for managing several partners in Japan and in Asia. Data and finance-driven approach.
Design a business model for market expansion in Japan and Asia. Create compelling pitch decks for account managers. Collaborate with Finance, Product, Production, and Marketing to share and propose opportunities to maximize DAZN's business.

【BD growth Strategist Tokyo 】
As a member of the Business Development team in Tokyo, you will be responsible for managing several partners in Japan and in Asia. Data and finance-driven approach.
Design a business model for market expansion in Japan and Asia. Create compelling pitch decks for account managers. Collaborate with Finance, Product, Production, and Marketing to share and propose opportunities to maximize DAZN's business.
Key Responsibilities
- 市場動向、競争環境、顧客ニーズを分析し、BDチームメンバーと共にB2Bビジネスの戦略を策定する。
- 財務およびマーケティングチームと協力して、会社の成長計画を作成する。
- DAZNの目標と目的に沿った包括的なビジネス開発/新市場戦略を開発し、加速させる。
- 潜在的なパートナー、クライアント、ステークホルダーを特定し、新しいビジネスを生み出す。
- アジアでの新しい市場機会を特定し、立ち上げる。
- DAZNの戦略的目標に沿った長期的なパートナーシップを構築する。
- 目標を達成するために、営業、マーケティング、製品管理、その他の内部チームを統合するための重要な役割を果たす。
- パートナーの技術要件を理解し、製品の革新と共同ソリューションを導くために、内部BDチームと密接に協力する。
- ビジネス目標に沿ったパートナーシップおよび統合戦略を構築し、実行して、実質的なパイプラインの成長を促進する。
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to create a strategy for B2B business with BD team members.
- Work with the finance and marketing teams to create a plan for the company’s growth.
- Develop and accelerate a comprehensive business development/new market strategy aligned with DAZN's goals and objectives.
- Identify potential partners, clients, and stakeholders and generate new business.
- Identify and launch new market opportunities in Asia.
- Develop long-term partnerships that align with DAZN's strategic objectives.
- Serve as a key enabler for sales, marketing, product management, and other internal teams to facilitate a unified approach to achieving revenue goals.
- Work closely with internal BD teams to understand partner technology requirements and help steer product innovation and joint solutions.
- Build and execute partnership and integration strategies aligned with business goals to drive significant pipeline growth.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 日本語：ネイティブレベル、英語：ビジネスレベル
- 明確な目標を設定し、それに対して計画を実行するためのモチベーション、コミットメント、熱意、推進力を持つ自発的な姿勢。
- 顧客エンゲージメントとブランド構築に優れた創造的かつ戦略的な思考力。
- ビジネス開発、戦略、コンサルティング、マーケティングでの最低3年の経験。
- 戦略の策定に関する経験。
- ビジネス契約の設計、交渉、実行管理の実績。
- 複数の内部および外部のステークホルダーグループにまたがるプロジェクトを管理するプロジェクト管理経験。
- Fluent in Japanese and business level English.
- Self-starter with the motivation, commitment, enthusiasm and drive to define clear goals and execute plans to deliver against them.
- Creative and strategic thinker with flair for customer engagement and brand building.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, marketing.
- Experience working on creating strategies.
- Proven ability to design, negotiate and manage execution of business agreements.
- Project management experience – ability to manage projects across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
